SEANC helps members recover from Hurricane Matthew

The State Employees Association of North Carolina announced today that it had distributed more than $22,000 in relief grants to 61 members and their families who suffered losses as a result of Hurricane Matthew’s landfall last fall.

Donate to the Sgt. Meggan Callahan Memorial Fund

The state was shocked by heartbreaking news on Wednesday that a sergeant at Bertie Correctional Institution was attacked and killed by an inmate. Sgt. Meggan Lee Callahan, 29, was a member of SEANC District 63 and had been since 2012. We mourn her passing and pray for her family and friends in this difficult time.
