When did you become involved in SEANC? I had not heard of SEANC before I was called in for my first interview in 2011. Like most people, my initial thought was that is was part of the credit union!

How long have you been a staff member, and what positions have you held including your current one? I have been a part of the communications department for almost 10 years and have held every position in the department. I became the Director of Communications in May 2015.

What has been the most rewarding part of working for SEANC? I enjoy working on elections and legislative issues, as well as the convention. Knowing that I can contribute to bettering the lives of good, hardworking folks is always rewarding.

What do you wish everyone knew about SEANC? I wish everyone knew how committed our staff and member leaders are, and how much we genuinely care about the jobs we do.

What are your hobbies? I have collected baseball cards since I was at least 5. Currently the hobby is exploding, with cards going for thousands of dollars. It is almost too expensive. I also spend a great deal of my time at the baseball field on the weekends watching my stepson play.

Tell us about your family: My wife Ashley is a Dental Assistant and I have a stepson who is 15 and a daughter who is 8. We live in Sanford.

What is an interesting fact about you that people should know? I was a reporter for a newspaper for eight years before coming to SEANC. I also come from a long line of potters in the Seagrove area.
