Hurricane Florence Action Center

With significant wind damage and catastrophic flooding, Hurricane Florence will likely be the worst natural disaster in our state's history. Expected damages will total more than $17 billion. But already, we have seen the best of our state in the willingness of our citizens to pitch in and help their neighbors.

Here is an evolving list of information we hope is helpful to you as the state recovers from this disaster. If you would like to submit an entry for inclusion on this list, please email it to

SEANC Connections Fund

If you or a fellow member you know suffered great damage to property as a result of Hurricane Florence, you may qualify for a grant from the SEANC Connections Fund.

Grants from the fund are available to SEANC members who can demonstrate a significant need following the storm. All that member must do is fill out a Oct. 1, 2017-Sept. 30, 2018  Natural Disaster Request Form. In order to qualify for funds, the affected member must have been a SEANC member in good standing for a minimum of the previous six months from the time of the disaster.

Complete the 2017-2018 Natural Disaster Request Form in its entirety and in detail along with up to four photographs, if possible, depicting the damage from the disaster and email them to or by mail to:
