Disaster/Fallen Member Relief
The Connections Committee was created to assist our SEANC members with linking to needed resources. Our first project was raising and distributing money to assist those who suffered damage during Hurricane Matthew. Click here for the Hurricane Matthew Relief Update.
The SEANC Connections Fund is established to provide assistance for members who have experienced loss of life while on duty or from injuries incurred while working, or who have suffered great losses from natural disasters like floods, tornadoes and hurricanes. In order to qualify for funds, the affected member must have been a SEANC member in good standing for a minimum of the previous six months from the time of the event.
Other possible areas to be pursued but not limited to include mental health, caring for elderly parents, retirement planning, social security, legal documents such as wills, Power of Attorney authorizations, health care power of attorney documents, etc.
