SEANC is committed to protecting your privacy. We maintain the privacy of your information using security technologies, and we adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information.
What personal information does SEANC collect and how is it used?
SEANC collects personal information from you when you join the association and/or SEANC’s e-mail alert listserv. This information includes your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number and credit card number (where applicable). The online application and purchases are secure and your information goes directly to the SEANC Central Office.
We may also monitor and track information such as number of visitors to the site and new e-mail subscribers. This information is collected only for internal purposes to improve the design of our Web site and member communications.
The personal information collected is always voluntarily submitted by you. This information is used by SEANC to communicate with you in the future (if you have given your permission for such contact). We keep all personal information entered during registration confidential.
E-mail removals, member profile review and updates
If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from any or all of our e-mail lists, you can unsubscribe by simply clicking on “manage your subscription” at the bottom of any listserv e-mail you receive from SEANC.
Protecting your privacy
As part of our commitment to ensuring the privacy of our visitors, we do not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our online visitors and members with, for example, mass marketers.
We also provide personal information to a third party on a completely confidential basis to enable the third party to send e-mail alerts on our behalf. Any third-party providers are committed to protecting the privacy of our members and subscribers, and will not utilize your information for any other purpose but to provide the services which we contract for.

Online shopping
Shopping on the Internet is safe, and our encryption methods make credit card fraud even more difficult than mail, phone orders or even in-person purchases. If you experience fraudulent use of your credit card as a result of using our Web site, notify your credit card company per its rules and procedures.
You can tell when you are in our secure shopping area by viewing the lock or key at the bottom of your browser - an unlocked or broken key (or absence of a key or lock, depending on your browser) means you are in an unsecured area.
For purchases, view the SEANC Store
return policy.
