YOUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
One of the outstanding benefits of SEANC membership is its scholarship program for active and associate members, their spouses and dependent children.

CRITERIA
Is your mom or dad a state employee/retiree and a SEANC member? Are you a SEANC member? If so, you may be eligible to apply for a SEANC scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded in the following categories:

CATEGORY I: Financial Need
CATEGORY II: Merit
CATEGORY III: Member Only (working full time and enrolled in at least 6 semester hours of undergraduate work or 3 semester hours of graduate work)

Electronic Application » (Click on application.  Go to file>save page as to save on computer.  Open saved file and type in fields to complete.  Print and give appropriate pages to references and transcript officers. Mail to the district scholarship chairman.)

DEADLINE
SEANC scholarship applications are available from December to April each year. The deadline to apply is April 15.

DONATE
Each year the endowment of the popular SEANC scholarship program grows, primarily through SEANC state and district-level fundraising events and individual donations. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the SEANC Scholarship Foundation, please fill out the contribution form today or give through the State Employees Combined Campaign (designate 1563).

GOLF
You can also donate to the scholarship program by participating in the Don Jones Memorial Golf Tournament.  This year's tournament will take place June 18-19 at the Hyland Golf Club in Southern Pines.  Entry forms are due by June 4.

SEIU SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE TO SEANC MEMBERS
Members of SEANC or their children are eligible to apply for a SEIU scholarship.  For more information on these scholarships and to apply, please visit the SEIU Web site.  Applications are due March 1, 2010.
