Collective Bargaining Committee
As one of its Top 10 Policy Platform Objectives, SEANC seeks the repeal
of G.S. 95-98, the statute that prohibits North Carolina public
employees from engaging in
collective bargaining.
The committee is charged with exploring all aspects of collective
bargaining and to report back to the president steps that SEANC would
need to take in order to position itself as a collective bargaining
agent for state employees should a change in state law be achieved.
